Associate DVM
Dr. Vandenheuvel, also known as Dr. Van, is originally from Santa Cruz, California. She attended school in North Carolina for her undergraduate degree, and originally wanted to be a horse veterinarian! After graduation she fell in love with small animal medicine and has never regretted the switch in focus. Dr Van received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences Veterinary School.
Dr. Van’s favorite part of veterinarian medicine is getting to help people AND their pets at the same time! Her professional interests are dermatology, behavior, and internal medicine.
Dr. Van has two cats Aesa and Archie; and one dog named Cooper. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, riding horses, working out and eating good food!
